Moving briskly along the Astoria waterfront, the shrimper Sea Foam passes the observing platform at 14th Street headed for her berth in the East End Mooring Basin. In the background the rooftops of the city watch her motor by, and behind them the soft greens of the hillside fade into a fog that clings to the ridge. Blues, violets, greens and ochres predominate this lovely painting.
